Yes Communities agreed to settle a class action lawsuit alleging hackers accessed its network and obtained sensitive information during a data breach in December 2024. The lawsuit alleged the company failed to adequately protect personal data, including Social Security numbers, financial account information, birthdates, and driver's license numbers. Class members can claim reimbursement for documented losses up to $2,500, up to $80 for lost time, or an alternate cash payment of an estimated $50. All class members can also elect to receive three years of credit monitoring.
