Xarelto

This settlement addresses claims of serious bleeding injuries caused by the prescription drug Xarelto and provides compensation to affected Quebec residents who meet eligibility criteria.

This class action settlement concerns allegations that Bayer failed to warn Quebec residents about serious bleeding risks associated with the prescription drug Xarelto (rivaroxaban). The settlement fund will compensate eligible class members who suffered significant bleeding events linked to Xarelto use between 2008 and 2025. Claims require medical proof and will be evaluated by a Claims Administrator. The settlement awaits court approval with a hearing scheduled for May 19, 2026.

• Residents of Quebec prescribed and ingested Xarelto from January 1, 2008 to October 27, 2025.
• Primary claimants who experienced serious bleeding events causing death, brain injury, organ damage, or hospitalization.
• Family members or dependants of primary claimants with proof of relationship.
• Claimants who can provide medical or pharmacy documentation or acceptable statements proving use and injury.
