Allegations of abuse, hazing, or bullying against former WHL and OHL players.

Former players who competed in the Western Hockey League (WHL) and Ontario Hockey League (OHL) from 1975 onwards are eligible to join a class action lawsuit against their former teams, their leagues, and the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). The lawsuit alleges abuse, hazing, or bullying. Players have until April 6, 2027, to opt in. Each person's claim will be evaluated on its own merit, and individuals can provide documents or witness names if they choose.

Who qualifies

  • Players who competed in the WHL and OHL from 1975 to the present.
  • Individuals who experienced abuse, hazing, or bullying during their time playing in these leagues.
