This settlement resolves claims that Volkswagen and Audi vehicles contained defective Takata airbags that could cause injury or death. Eligible owners or lessees may receive up to $500 reimbursement or cash for related out-of-pocket expenses.
Who qualifies
- Individuals who owned or leased specified Volkswagen or Audi vehicles with Takata airbags between Feb. 9, 2016 and Nov. 10, 2021.
- Vehicles include various models from 2005 to 2019 as listed in the official vehicle list.
- Must have incurred out-of-pocket expenses related to the Takata air bag inflator recall.
