Valley Oaks Health Inc. agreed to a class action settlement resolving claims that a cyberattack between June 8, 2023 and June 13, 2023 potentially exposed sensitive personal and medical information. This included names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, medical diagnosis, driver's license numbers, financial account information, and more. Class members can claim cash payments for out-of-pocket losses (up to $500), extraordinary out-of-pocket losses (up to $5,000), reimbursement for lost time (up to $80), or an alternative $40 cash payment. All class members are eligible for two years of medical monitoring services with $1 million in medical identity theft insurance.
