Thinkware Systems USA Inc. has agreed to a $850,000 class action settlement to resolve allegations that it misrepresented and falsely advertised the "super night vision" feature on certain dashcam models, failing to disclose that this feature was only available in parking mode. Individuals and entities who purchased a Thinkware X700, F200PRO, DC-M2-FG-IR, DC-M2-FG or F70PRO dashcam in the United States between January 25, 2019, and August 31, 2024, for personal use and not for resale, may be eligible to submit a claim for a cash payment. Payments will be pro rata based on the number of valid claims. The deadline to file a claim is December 14, 2026.

  • Individuals and entities who purchased a Thinkware X700, F200PRO, DC-M2-FG-IR, DC-M2-FG or F70PRO dashcam in the United States between January 25, 2019, and August 31, 2024.
