Alleged improper charging of idle fees to Tesla customers with free lifetime Supercharging.

This settlement resolves claims that Tesla charged unlawful "idle fees" to customers who purchased vehicles that included free lifetime Supercharging. Eligible California residents who owned such vehicles may claim between $10 and $350.

You may be eligible if you:

• California residents who purchased a Tesla vehicle with free lifetime Supercharging before Dec. 16, 2016.
• Must have owned the vehicle after Dec. 16, 2016.
• Must have been a California resident as of June 21, 2021.

• Basic contact information
• Vehicles purchased before Dec. 16, 2016, and owned after that date by California residents as of June 21, 2021.
• Proof of purchase or supporting documents

If you do not have every document, you may still be able to file. Many settlements accept claims without receipts.

• Visit the official claim form.
• Provide your Tesla vehicle identification number.
• Complete and submit the claim form by the deadline.
