Swire Coca-Cola USA (formerly Swire Pacific Holdings Inc.) agreed to a $2 million class action settlement resolving claims that it unlawfully entered into noncompetition covenants with employees in Washington state who earned less than twice the state minimum wage. The lawsuit alleged that the company's employment policies restricted employees from working other jobs or engaging in additional paid work. Eligible class members who worked for Swire Coca-Cola USA in Washington between Sept. 9, 2022, and March 10, 2026, and earned less than twice the state minimum wage may receive an estimated payment of $672.54. No claim form is required for automatic payment, but class members can submit a payment selection form online by Nov. 2, 2026, to choose a digital payment or update their address.
