Steel Warehouse Co. LLC has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it failed to adequately protect personal information during a cyberattack in January 2025. Individuals who received a notice that their personal information may have been compromised are eligible to submit a claim. Claimants can seek up to $5,000 for documented out-of-pocket losses related to identity theft or fraud, up to $60 for lost time spent dealing with the breach, or a $40 alternative cash payment. All class members are also eligible to receive one year of credit monitoring services. The claim deadline is December 1, 2026.
