Allegations of unfair variable rates charged by Spark Energy for electricity and natural gas supply.

This settlement resolves claims that Spark Energy charged unfair variable rates for electricity and natural gas to its customers. The settlement fund totals $11 million. Eligible customers who paid for electricity or natural gas supply before January 1, 2016, and through January 18, 2022, in various states may be eligible for a payout.

• Spark Energy customers in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Texas.
• Customers who paid for electricity or natural gas supply before January 1, 2016, and through January 18, 2022.
