This settlement resolves claims that the Bruce Rauner campaign used an automatic telephone dialing system or artificial or prerecorded voice to place calls or send ringless voicemails to cellphones in Illinois. Eligible individuals may receive a share of the $1 million settlement fund.
Who qualifies
- Any person or entity in the United States who received calls or ringless voicemails on a cellphone from the defendants.
- Calls or voicemails placed using an automatic dialing system or artificial/prerecorded voice.
- Calls or voicemails received between March 23, 2014, and May 13, 2021.
