A national class action in Canada against Otsuka Canada Pharmaceutical Inc. and Lundbeck Canada Inc. resulted in a $4.75 million settlement approved by Quebec Superior Court. The lawsuit concerns the antipsychotic drug Rexulti, prescribed since February 2017, and its alleged link to compulsive behaviors and impulse-control disorders such as gambling, shopping, or binge-eating.
