About this settlement

Allegations of misrepresentation and fraud in NZXT's Flex PC rental program.

NZXT and its billing partner, Fragile, have agreed to a $3,450,000 settlement in a class-action lawsuit concerning NZXT's Flex PC rental program. The lawsuit alleged that NZXT defrauded consumers through misrepresentations about the program, including providing lower-quality components than advertised and misleading customers about ownership and cancellation terms. The settlement, pending court approval, may allow eligible customers who signed up for Flex on or before 2024 and never received an upgraded PC, or whose accounts are over 90 days delinquent, to keep their rented PCs. The settlement also includes a debt forgiveness pool of up to $5,000 for past-due accounts and a cash fund. NZXT has also agreed to change its business practices regarding advertising and transparency for the Flex program.
