Allegations that Navy Federal Credit Union permitted unauthorized loan accounts to be opened in members' names.

This settlement resolves claims that Navy Federal Credit Union allowed third parties to open unauthorized loan accounts for members. Eligible members who experienced such unauthorized loans between January 1, 2023, and January 31, 2025, may be entitled to compensation.

You may be eligible if you:

• NFCU members who had a personal loan application submitted using a device NFCU did not recognize.
• The loan funds were deposited into the member’s account.
• The member disputed the loan as fraudulent, and NFCU denied the claim in whole or in part.
• NFCU has not fully recovered the loan funds.

• Loans where the application was submitted between Jan. 1, 2023, and Jan. 31, 2025, and other conditions were met.
• Proof is usually optional, but keep receipts if available
