This settlement resolves claims that Mercy Health and Avectus violated Ohio laws in their communications to patients about payments for treatments beyond co-pays or deductibles. Eligible patients who paid or were requested to pay such amounts may claim $25 each.

• Patients of Mercy Health in Ohio between August 27, 2009 and August 31, 2023.
• Patients who presented health insurance and later paid or were asked to pay for treatment other than co-pays or deductibles.
• Includes those contacted by Avectus on Mercy Health’s behalf.
• Subclass includes patients contacted only by Mercy Health, not Avectus.
