Mercurys Madness Inc., now known as Mercurys Coffee Co., agreed to pay $450,000 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging its job postings in Washington failed to include required wage scales, salary ranges or general descriptions of benefits as mandated by state law. Employment seekers who applied for a job with Mercurys Madness in Washington state between Jan. 1, 2023, and Aug. 10, 2026, may be eligible to receive an estimated cash payment of $73.31. Class members do not need to file a claim to receive their payment; the settlement administrator will automatically mail payments to eligible class members. The deadline to update address or payment info is Oct. 21, 2026.

You may be eligible if you:

• Individuals who applied for a job with Mercurys Madness in Washington state.
• Applications submitted between Jan. 1, 2023, and Aug. 10, 2026.
• The job posting for the position did not disclose the wage scale or salary range and/or a general description of benefits and other compensation.

• Proof is usually optional, but keep receipts if available

If you do not have every document, you may still be able to file. Many settlements accept claims without receipts.
