MD Live and Evernorth Health Inc. agreed to a $3.5 million settlement to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging the companies disclosed users’ sensitive information and private communications on the MD Live website to Google and Meta without user consent. Eligible class members are individuals who accessed the MD Live portal at patient.mdlive.com between May 30, 2023, and Aug. 11, 2025, engaged in any activity on the portal after signing in and had an active Facebook and/or Google account during that time period. Eligible class members may claim up to $15. The deadline to file a claim is December 1, 2026.
Who qualifies
- Individuals who logged into the MD Live portal at patient.mdlive.com between May 30, 2023, and Aug. 11, 2025.
- Engaged in any activity on the portal after signing in.
- Had an active Facebook and/or Google account during that time period.
