Kroger has agreed to a $17 million class action settlement to resolve claims that it failed to properly account for its savings club prices when reporting usual and customary prescription drug prices to insurers. This alleged practice may have led insured customers to pay more for their prescriptions than they should have. Individuals who paid for prescription drugs at Kroger pharmacies using insurance between December 9, 2018, and August 23, 2026, may be eligible to file a claim for a pro rata cash payment. The claim deadline is December 21, 2026. Proof of purchase is required for claims of $8,000 or more.
