Class action settlement for consumers who received inaccurate background reports from Inflection Risk Solutions between 2018 and 2021.

This settlement addresses claims that Inflection Risk Solutions published inaccurate criminal record information on consumer background checks, including mischaracterizing misdemeanors as felonies and incorrectly labeling offenses as violent.

• Consumers with a Minnesota criminal conviction deemed a misdemeanor but reported as a felony between Oct. 12, 2018 and July 13, 2021.
• Consumers nationwide with background reports listing offenses as violent when they were not, between Oct. 12, 2018 and Sept. 29, 2021.
