This settlement resolves claims against Health Insurance Innovations (now Benefytt Technologies) for selling limited benefit indemnity plans and ancillary products that did not cover certain medical expenses or qualify for ACA tax exemptions. Eligible consumers who paid fees or premiums without full refunds may receive compensation.

• Consumers nationwide who bought limited benefit indemnity plans or ancillary products through Simple Health or Nationwide Health.
• Those who paid fees or premiums not recovered through refunds or chargebacks.
• Members of the Medical Expense Subclass who incurred uncovered medical expenses.
• Members of the Tax Penalty Subclass who incurred ACA individual mandate penalties.
