Hampton Regional Medical Center has agreed to a $250,000 settlement to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging that a cybersecurity incident between June 18 and July 16, 2025, exposed sensitive personal information, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver’s license or state ID numbers, and medical information. Individuals residing in the United States who received a data breach notice from Hampton Regional Medical Center may be eligible to submit a claim for up to $5,000 for documented losses or an estimated $20 pro rata cash payment. All class members can elect to receive one year of one-bureau credit monitoring valued at $240. To claim a settlement payment, class members can file a claim online or print and complete the PDF claim form and mail it to the settlement administrator. The claim deadline is January 11, 2027.
