Globe Life Inc. and American Income Life Insurance Co. have agreed to a $3.4 million class action settlement to resolve claims that they failed to adequately protect customer data during a data incident on or about October 2, 2024, which impacted approximately 532,578 individuals. Class members who received a mailed notice about the breach may be eligible for cash payments for documented losses (up to $5,000) or lost time (up to $72), and two years of free credit monitoring. The claim deadline is October 19, 2026.
