Geico has agreed to a $1.65 million settlement to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging it failed to properly investigate and correct disputed information it provided to LexisNexis for CLUE auto insurance reports. The lawsuit claimed Geico violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act by not correcting or removing inaccurate information after a consumer dispute. Eligible class members who disputed inaccurate information on their LexisNexis CLUE auto insurance report between March 13, 2022, and May 1, 2026, where Geico was the source of the information, may receive approximately $150. No proof of claim is required for class members identified by the settlement administrator.
