A class action lawsuit has been filed against Telescents Inc., doing business as FragranceNet, by plaintiff Andrea Velazquez. The lawsuit alleges that FragranceNet sent unsolicited telemarketing text messages to consumers, including messages sent before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. local time, and to phone numbers listed on the National Do-Not-Call Registry for at least 30 days. The plaintiff claims she did not provide prior express invitation or permission for these messages and that the company violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and FCC regulations.
