This class action lawsuit alleged that Forbes Media LLC collected and shared California residents’ IP addresses and unique identifiers through website trackers without their consent, potentially violating state privacy and competition laws. Forbes Media LLC agreed to pay $10 million to settle these allegations. Class members are California residents who accessed any website Forbes owned or controlled between December 20, 2023, and June 11, 2026, and whose IP address and/or unique identifiers the company shared with third parties as a result of trackers on those websites. Class members can submit a claim to receive a pro rata cash payment from the net settlement fund. The settlement administrator will determine the final payment amount by the total number of valid claims filed. Payments can be received via Virtual Mastercard, PayPal, Venmo, direct deposit, or paper check.

You may be eligible if you:

• California residents who accessed any Forbes website between December 20, 2023, and June 11, 2026.
• Whose IP address and/or unique identifiers were shared with third parties by Forbes Media LLC as a result of trackers on those websites.
