Distribution of remaining funds from the $725 million Facebook privacy settlement to those who received and cashed their initial payment.
A second round of bonus payments is being distributed in the $725 million class action settlement concerning Facebook users' privacy. Approximately $100 million remains from uncashed checks and expired digital payments. These bonus payments are being issued to about 15.7 million people who successfully cashed their initial payment, which was distributed in September 2025. Payments will be sent out in batches over a four-week period starting June 9, with recipients being notified three to four days in advance. The lawsuit accused Facebook of sharing user data with third parties, such as Cambridge Analytica. Minimum bonus payments are expected to be $4.67 and maximum $7.32.
