This settlement resolves claims that two Midwest Enterprise franchises violated the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act by requiring employees to scan fingerprints for timekeeping. Eligible employees may receive estimated payments between $400 and $500.
Who qualifies
- Employees who scanned fingerprints for timekeeping at Enterprise Leasing Co. of Chicago or Enterprise Rent-A-Car Co. Midwest LLC.
- Employment and fingerprint scans occurred in Illinois between April 3, 2015 and January 3, 2023.
