This settlement resolves claims that Empire Parking Services unlawfully booted vehicles and charged fees in Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Decatur, and Cobb, DeKalb, and Fulton counties in Georgia between 2012 and 2018. Eligible class members who paid to remove a boot may receive up to $30.
Who qualifies
- Individuals who paid to have a boot removed from their vehicle by Empire Parking Services.
- Booting occurred in Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Decatur, or Cobb, DeKalb, or Fulton counties, Georgia.
- Booting and payment happened between Feb. 3, 2012 and Dec. 12, 2018.
- Claimants must have been driving the booted vehicle and personally paid the booting fee.
