About this settlement

Alleged misrepresentation of a 6% San Francisco Health Care Security Ordinance fee as a tax by Domino's Pizza franchises in San Francisco.

Asi Foods Inc. and related entities, which operate four Domino’s Pizza franchises in San Francisco, have agreed to settle a class action lawsuit. The lawsuit alleged these Domino’s locations charged customers a 6% fee for the San Francisco Health Care Security Ordinance but misrepresented it as a tax. California residents who made a purchase at one of the four specified Domino’s locations in San Francisco and paid this fee between Dec. 4, 2023, and Aug. 12, 2026, may be eligible to claim a voucher worth 75% of the HSCO fees paid or a cash payment of 50% of the HSCO fees paid. The total settlement fund is $200,000.
