BuyAlerts is facing a class action settlement for allegedly sending unwanted text messages to consumers after they opted out or while their numbers were on the National Do Not Call Registry.

Live Stream Technology Services Inc., d/b/a BuyAlerts, has agreed to a $3.6 million class action settlement to resolve claims that it sent unwanted text messages to consumers. The lawsuit alleges violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Florida Telephone Solicitation Act (FTSA) for messages sent after consumers opted out or while their numbers were listed on the National Do Not Call Registry. Eligible class members may receive up to $42.16. The deadline to file a claim is February 16, 2027.
