Apple has agreed to pay $250 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging that the company deceived consumers about artificial intelligence enhancements, such as Siri enhancements, in its iPhone 16 models released in 2024. The lawsuit claims that the advertised AI features were not present at the time of the iPhone 16's launch. The court has moved the final approval hearing to February 2027. If approved, eligible customers in the United States who purchased an eligible device between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025, may receive between $25 and $95 per device.
