Americold Realty Trust and Americold Logistics LLC have agreed to a $5.25 million class action settlement to resolve claims that they failed to adequately secure personal and health information during data breaches in 2020 and 2023. Individuals who received a notice from Americold stating that their data was impacted by these breaches may be eligible to claim up to $25,000 for documented losses or receive a residual cash payment of $100 or $200, as well as three years of free credit monitoring. The settlement covers approximately 141,000 individuals affected in 2020 and 129,000 in 2023.
