Altrua HealthShare and Crown Administrators have agreed to a $1.1 million settlement to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). The lawsuit claims that prerecorded calls were made to cell phone numbers without prior express consent. Individuals who received a prerecorded call from Crown Administrators on behalf of Altrua HealthShare between December 2, 2024, and December 11, 2024, may be eligible to claim up to $700. Eligibility will be verified using calling records, and no proactive documentation is required from claimants.
