Settlement for New Mexico AAA policyholders whose underinsured motorist claims were reduced or offset by payments from at-fault drivers.

This settlement resolves claims that AAA improperly reduced underinsured motorist claims by the amount paid by at-fault drivers for New Mexico automobile insurance policies issued between 2010 and 2022. Eligible class members may receive up to $25,000 or a partial premium refund.

Who qualifies

  • New Mexico residents with an automobile insurance policy containing UM/UIM coverage from AAA between Jan. 1, 2010 and May 4, 2022.
  • Individuals who had an underinsured motorist claim reduced or offset by the amount paid by the at-fault driver during that period.
