Alleged failure by Flagstar Bank to protect consumers' personal information from data breaches in 2021.

Flagstar Bank has agreed to a $31.5 million class action settlement to compensate consumers whose personal information was compromised in data breaches during 2021. Eligible individuals can claim documented monetary losses up to $25,000, a pro rata payment of $60, up to $599, and an additional $100 for California residents.

You may be eligible if you:

• Consumers identified by Flagstar as having their personal information impacted by the data breaches in January and December 2021.

• Basic contact information
• Consumers identified as having their personal information impacted by the Flagstar Bank data breaches in January and December 2021.
• Proof of purchase or supporting documents

If you do not have every document, you may still be able to file. Many settlements accept claims without receipts.

• Submit documentation for any monetary losses incurred due to the data breach.
• File your claim by the deadline of August 11, 2026.
