About this settlement
Compensation for Nationwide policyholders whose underinsured motorist claims were offset or who purchased qualifying New Mexico auto insurance policies.
This settlement resolves claims that Nationwide improperly reduced underinsured motorist claims by the amount paid by at-fault drivers or involved certain New Mexico UM/UIM policies issued between 2010 and 2022.
Who qualifies
- Individuals with underinsured motorist claims reduced by at-fault driver payments between Oct. 1, 2010 and March 31, 2022.
- New Mexico residents who purchased auto insurance policies with UM/UIM coverage during the same period.
