This settlement resolves claims that Payless Car Rental charged unfair fees for its Gas Service Option and Roadside Protection services on rentals in the U.S. Eligible renters who paid these fees may receive compensation by submitting a payment election form.
Who qualifies
- U.S. and Canadian residents who rented from Payless in the U.S. between Jan. 1, 2016 and Nov. 25, 2023.
- Paid fees for Gas Service Option (GSO) and/or Roadside Protection (RSP) during rental.
Up to $20 for GSO charges and $12 for RSP charges.
