This class action settlement addresses antitrust claims against American Express involving certain Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit and debit cards used at qualifying merchants in specified states between 2015/2016 and 2022. Eligible consumers may submit claims for cash payments.
Who qualifies
- Illinois consumers with Visa, Mastercard, or Discover non-rewards credit or charge cards used at qualifying merchants between Jan. 29, 2016 and June 1, 2022.
- Visa or Mastercard debit card holders who made purchases at qualifying merchants in AL, DC, IL, KS, ME, MS, NC, OR, or UT between Jan. 29, 2015 and June 1, 2022.
- Visa or Mastercard debit card holders in KS, IL, or MS with purchases between Jan. 29, 2016 and June 1, 2022.
