Allegations of contamination in Valsartan, Losartan, and Irbesartan blood pressure medications.

This settlement addresses claims that Valsartan, Losartan, and Irbesartan medications from Aurobindo, Hetero, and Vivimed were contaminated with cancer-causing substances. Different award amounts and proof requirements apply to each manufacturer.

• Consumers who purchased irbesartan medications manufactured with Aurobindo irbesartan API since Jan. 1, 2016.
• Consumers who purchased valsartan medications manufactured using Hetero Process III API between May 1, 2018 and July 31, 2018.
• Consumers who purchased Vivimed losartan finished drug formulations under specific impacted National Drug Codes.
